The cues are subtle, discrete, and occasionally land on you like a ton of bricks.

Inattentional blindness is the scientific term for why we’re unable see what’s directly in front of us. Rather than focusing in on every detail in our world, we tend to concentrate on the things that are most important.

While we do sometimes fail to miss the things around us, we are generally pretty good at noticing information that is relevant to us.

Your brain is sophisticated enough to help you register and interpret visual cues that it thinks will provide you with the most value. But, in its efforts, visual information—both important and not—can sometimes get overlooked.

Ignorance is always afraid of change. It fears the unknown and sticks to its safety zone. However miserable it may be, comfort provides a sense of stability

Sensory awareness to climate changes in comfort help you navigate through adversity. Change blindness can be a cautionary tale as sure as judgement and reasoning can dictate success.
