Goal achievement and the connection to neuroscience.

To increase our chances of success, it is important that we understand and leverage both cognitive (i.e. how) as well as motivational (i.e. will) factors; according to research conducted by renowend neuroscientist Dr Elliot Berkman from University of Oregon this is a key component for successful outcomes.


The E-E-E model presented in American Psychological Association journal explains the three main types of goals used for achieving objectives: Process Goals, Performance Goals and Outcome Goals; all serving three purposes – enlightening us, encouraging us and enabling us.
